On July 10, military members veterans, family members and some special guests gathered at the Currie Barracks for our annual Stampede Breakfast. It was a great opportunity for the military community in Calgary to come together and celebrate the Stampede spirit.
The Calgary Stampede Batter Boys worked the grills and flapjacks were served with a choice of vanilla or maple walnut ice cream. Guests could also top their hotcakes with a dollop of whipped cream.
For activities, the guests had ample opportunity to stay entertained. There were Stampede crafts, face painting, a petting zoo, a bouncy castle, a mechanical bull and so much more!
Thank you to all of the military community members who attended. It was great to see all of you out there. We hope to see more of you at our upcoming events.
